Songs Speak to Me!

There is a song that the Isaacs sing called...:"Your Cries Have Awoken the Master" and it speaks of how our faith is so small sometimes...it so easy to put it in the Lord's hands, but we don't, we try to handle it ourselves and He is there saying, "Give it to me and let me handle it".
Here are the lyrics to the song.  It reminds me when Jayden was in the IWK for 8 days!

Lost the Spark

As I was shopping in town today, I was speaking to a lady whom I have know for many years and she said that her daughter wasn't with her husband anymore because they had lost the spark. And her mother said to her, "well get the spark back".

I have been divorced twice now, where the blame goes, I don't exactly know....but I can say I tried to salvage each marriage. But, I don't believe that we were paired right.

So, the question is how do you get that spark back? I have never heard of so many break ups and the reason usually is, they fell out of love with the other person.

Marriage is the sacred union that God intended it to be. Marriage is supposed to last a lifetime!

My personal opinion is that it is definitely too easy to get a divorce. If you pass 15 years now, it's an acccomplishment. So, how do the people who celebrate their 40, 50 even 60 anniversaries keep the spark alive. I believe it was that they believed that once you were married you were married and you were to make it work, no matter what!

There are so many temptations that pull people apart, one big one is this thing I am using right now....internet.

I still miss being married to my last husband, but he chose another. But, we agreed to be friends, and people say how can you be friends....well, it's easier on my me and him. Life is to short to be mad and hold grudges.

NATURE

Good Day, Friends,

Nature totally amazes me. Now look at this dragonfly. You tell man created this, I don't think so!

Think about the trees, flowers, bushes, grass that goes to sleep all winter and then when it's Spring, it all comes back to life again. How does it know to do that? I have an Aunt who has befriended a little bunny who we believe may have something wrong with it. But, it still knows that it has to wash it's face. The bunny knows the scent of my Aunt and now thinks that she is her mother. How does the apple trees now when to bud and apples all of a sudden pop out. Don't you ever think about things like that. I do..but I have to stop because my brain begins to hurt...lol. I am some glad they didn't leave creation up to me, what pile of decisions I would have had to make. What color the grass would be, what color the sky. And another thing that really blows me away is DNA..just imagine not a single person has the same DNA as another. WOW WOW....And another thing is the fax machine, or the telephone....okay Holli that's enough...HEADACHE hehe...

Special People

I have a very special friend and here she is sitting in an old chair that was down by the water. She is one of the hardest working people I know. She never gives in and never gives up. She's a terrific Mom and yes, Sally, one day your children will realize it. Her children are in high school now but she is very involved with her family. On snowy days she'll go out and play with her kids. In the summer, she'll play hide-n-seek with them. Her brothers are very important to her as well. She's the only girl in the family of 6 boys. Her hubby is the apple of her eye and that is so important.

We are the kind of friends that don't have to be with each other all the time, but, are there for each other if we need to be. We don't agree on religion, but that doesn't make us any less of friends. We agree to disagree. That's friendship. I thank God for bringing her into my life because I'd be very lonely without her.

When we are together we have a lot of fun like frog catching, storm chasing, rolling down hills, beachcombing and so much more.

So, Sally, my friend, keep being you, keep being real! And as Sally would say, if you are going to be something, OWN IT! I love that saying. Love girlfriend! x

Back at it again!

There has been alot of thoughts going through my head here lately. I think alot actually.
I wonder why God chose His precious Son, Jesus to die on an old tree for us.
I wonder why it so easy to receive Jesus as your Saviour, but everyone thinks it's so hard.
I wonder why things turn out the way they do!
I wonder why good people die so young and no so good people live.
I wonder why I wonder all the time. If I would just let things be as they are and accept the things I can't change and change the things I can, wouldn't it be so easy. But, I have to make things harder on myself. My soul desire is to serve God with all my heart and do His will.
I pray that all my friends and family would come to know Him as well.
As I have seen loved ones pass away, I now know that there is a God for real. They change instantly. Their souls have gone up to heaven!
I sure wish they hadn't passed away and I wonder about that too! Why them and why so young!
Anyway, I will try to be a little more uplifting. Share thoughts and you leave comments and let me know how I'm doing!

What do lighthouses mean to you?

The meaning is so simple to me, it's a light that shines in the darkness to guide the ship safely ashore. It's like when you are lost in the storms of life and you can't see anyway out of it, just look for that light from Jesus and run to it....He'll never let you down.
